DESCRIPTION:\nThe passage of the SECURE Act has placed those who administer IRAs, and those who advise the administration, in a challenging position.  This session will examine how the new and old rules combine for accounts that have an owner pass away in 2021 and beyond.  The speakers will provide several examples of how to handle inherited IRAs in this “new normal” with a particular focus on the interaction between trusts and IRAs.  \n \nOne Hour of Continuing Education is pending for this session.\n \nFollowing a brief break, the MCEPC quarterly luncheon and presentation by David Lentz will follow.\n
